Summary
Robert Kittredge is a foreign news correspondent known for inexplicably scooping the big stories. But when he misses the beat on Germany invading Russia, he heads home to his fellow reporter and fianceĢe Christina Hill in Washington, D.C., in hopes of saving his relationship, career and reputation. While there, he stumbles on a tip that the Axis powers are set to destroy the capital. As Kittredge digs deeper into the story, he finds himself a target, and it's up to Robert to catch the spies, save the city and keep his job
