Summary
"A USAF air traffic controller is deployed from the Philippines in the late 1960s to a remote mountain top in Northern Laos to help install and flight check a navigational aid to help with the U.S. bombing of Hanoi. The site is overrun by the North Vietnamese Army and he is taken prisoner. His fate is unknown to the U.S. so they list him as MIA. He endures life as a POW deep in the mountainous jungles of Laos while back in the Philippines the woman he loves and their young son wait bravely and faithfully throughout the years believing he is alive and will one day return to them."--Back cover
